Frequently Asked Questions

Can the recipient expect the exact same arrangement shown in the pictures?

If you order a featured design from our website, we do our best to match the photo as closely as possible. Because flowers are seasonal and perishable, specific blooms or exact shades may vary. When needed, we’ll make substitutions of equal or greater value to protect the look and quality of your arrangement.

Our designers preserve the overall “look and feel” by matching the style, shape, size, and color palette.

Plants: Green and blooming plants may be substituted with a similar plant of equal or greater value.

Gourmet baskets: Items may be substituted with equal or greater value to ensure freshness and timely delivery.

Balloons: Many hospitals do not allow latex balloons. If needed, Mylar balloons may be substituted.

What is your substitution policy?

Fresh flowers: Because of seasonality and availability, substitutions are sometimes necessary. We substitute with blooms of equal or greater value while preserving the overall design style and color palette.

Balloons: Hospitals often prohibit latex balloons. Mylar balloons may be substituted when required.

Plants: Similar plants of equal or greater value may be substituted as needed.

Gourmet baskets: Items may be substituted with equal or greater value to guarantee freshness.

Is there a minimum order for delivery?

Yes. Our minimum product subtotal for delivery is $40. Delivery fees are added at checkout based on distance.

Do you deliver every day?

We deliver Monday–Saturday. Sunday delivery is available for funeral services or special events only. Surcharges may apply for large, off-hour, bulk, or special-handling deliveries.

What happens if the recipient isn’t home to accept the delivery?

We always try to deliver in person. If the recipient isn’t available, we may:

  • Leave the order with someone nearby (neighbor, coworker, front desk), or
  • Leave it in a safe place when weather and circumstances allow.

If we leave the order with someone else or in a safe location, we’ll call the recipient using the phone number provided to share where it was left. If delivery can’t be completed, we’ll coordinate a re-delivery or pickup at the shop.

What are your delivery fees?

Delivery fees are based on distance from our shop and typically range from $12.95 to $24.95 (most are $12.95–$15.95). Delivery is not included in the arrangement price so pickup customers receive full product value.

Deliveries are typically made between 9am and 4pm, Monday through Saturday. If you need a timed delivery, we’ll do our best to accommodate. Timed delivery requests may require an additional fee (often equal to the delivery fee). Funeral deliveries are excluded from timed-delivery fees.

How does payment work?

We accept cash, check, and major credit cards (Visa, American Express, Discover, and MasterCard).

You can pay in-store, by phone with our Customer Service Team, or online through our website checkout.

How can I change or cancel my order?

To make changes or request a cancellation, please call our Customer Service Team at 610-431-3077.

Orders can be canceled any time before they are out for delivery or already delivered.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Non-perishable gift items: May be returned within 7 days of receipt for a full refund if unopened and returned with original packaging and tags. Shipping fees are refundable only when the return is due to our error.

Cancellations: You may cancel your order prior to delivery unless the order is out for delivery or has already been delivered. Please call 610-431-3077.

Refund timing: Once a return is received and processed, refunds are issued back to the original payment method within 7–14 days.

Are your flowers or plants pet-safe?

Pets can be curious (and sometimes nibble). Some plants and flowers can be harmful to cats and dogs. If your pet ingests any plant material and you’re concerned, contact your veterinarian right away.

Common flowers and plants that may be toxic: Aloe Vera, Azaleas, Amaryllis, Baby’s Breath (toxic to dogs; generally considered safer for cats), Begonia, Birds of Paradise, Bamboo, Carnation, Chrysanthemum, Cyclamen, Daffodils, Dieffenbachia, Eucalyptus, Ferns, Holly, Hyacinths, Hydrangeas, Irises, Ivy, Lilies, Mistletoe, Snake Plant (Mother-in-Law’s Tongue), Narcissus, Oleander, Peonies, Poinsettias, Poppies, Rhododendrons, Sago Palm, Tulips, Wisteria.

This list isn’t exhaustive—if you have questions about a specific flower, call us at 610-431-3077 and we’ll help.

Valentine’s Day Flower FAQs

When should I order Valentine’s Day flowers?

Order as early as possible—ideally 1–2 weeks before February 14—for the best selection and preferred delivery dates. Limited last-minute and same-day options may be available while capacity lasts.

Do you offer same-day Valentine’s Day flower delivery?

Yes, same-day Valentine’s Day delivery is available while capacity allows. Due to high demand, availability is limited and may sell out quickly.

What areas do you deliver Valentine’s Day flowers to?

We deliver Valentine’s Day flowers throughout West Chester and surrounding communities. Delivery timing, availability, and fees vary by location and order volume.

What are the most popular Valentine’s Day flowers?
  • Red and pink roses
  • Mixed seasonal bouquets
  • Tulips, ranunculus, and garden-style arrangements
  • Romantic palettes with soft neutrals or deep reds

Our designers also create seasonal Valentine’s collections each year.

Do you only sell roses for Valentine’s Day?

No. Roses are classic, but we also offer modern, garden-style arrangements and seasonal mixes. If you want something unique, consider a designer’s-choice arrangement for the freshest available blooms.

Can I send Valentine’s Day flowers to a workplace or business?

Yes. We deliver to offices, hotels, and businesses. Please note that delivery timing cannot be guaranteed for business addresses on February 14 due to volume.

What happens if my recipient isn’t home?

If no one is available, we follow secure delivery guidelines whenever possible. Depending on the situation, we may contact the recipient or leave flowers in a safe location at our discretion.

Are Valentine’s Day flowers more expensive?

Valentine’s Day is the busiest floral holiday of the year, and wholesale flower costs typically increase due to demand. We offer a range of options at different price points while maintaining quality and design standards.

Can I customize a Valentine’s Day arrangement?

Customization may be available depending on flower availability. Ordering early gives you the best chance to request specific colors or blooms.

Do you deliver on February 14 even if it falls on a weekend?

Yes. Valentine’s Day deliveries are available regardless of the day of the week, though delivery windows may vary.

What if I forgot to order Valentine’s Day flowers?

It happens! We do our best to accommodate last-minute orders while inventory and delivery capacity allow. You can also visit the shop for ready-to-go flowers, plants, and gifts.
